Pastor John Prothro

A graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Pastor John also obtained a Masters Degree in Religious Education at Southwestern Baptist Seminary. He also did post-graduate study at Southern Seminary.

In over 40 years of ministry, Pastor John has served in various capacities: Minister of Education, Youth Minister, Christian Camp Director, and of course, as a Pastor. He has worked as Junior Engineer for Texas Eastern Transmission Corp., and also served in the army for 2 years. He was called as Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in early 2008.

Pastor John and his wife, Martha, who is a retired Art teacher, have two sons: Stephen and David. They are grandparents of 3: Ruston, Alex, and Amber. Amber is about to make them Great-Grandparents!
